To Pay a Bill
1. From the Tasks stacked toolbar, click Bills.
The Bills List appears.
2. Select either the Current Bills or Overdue Bills folder from the tree.
The list area shows all the bills you have set up in the selected folder.
3. Select the bill you want to pay from the list of bill records, then either:
Click Pay from the application toolbar
or File menu. Or,
Click the right mouse button, then
click Pay from the pop up menu.
The Bill Payment window appears.
4. In the Bank box, enter the nominal code of the bank account you want to pay the bill from. The nominal account description appears in the box.
The Payment Details section shows the information you entered in the Bill Record, such as reference, date, net value and tax code.
5. To pay your bill, click OK. To exit without paying the selected bill, click Cancel.
You have now paid the selected bill. The paid bill automatically moves from the Current Bills or Overdue Bills folder to the Paid Bills folder. Your Bill Record is updated to show the bill payment details.
